Holiday Bookmarks

Elizabeth Craft Designs has just released a whole bunch of new Holiday, Christmas, and Winter themed dies and stamps.  And trust me, the line is just too cute to handle.

EK Gorman, Elizabeth Craft Designs aI decided to play with one of the new dies today, the Ornament die and turn them into what can either be holiday bookmarks, or a tag for gifts come the holidays.

EK Gorman, Elizabeth Craft Designs fStep One:  Die cut the three ornaments out of 100lb White Soft Finish Cardstock.

EK Gorman, Elizabeth Craft Designs gStep Two:  Die cut the backs of the ornaments and the topper using Soft Finish Cardstock and clear double sided adhesive.

EK Gorman, Elizabeth Craft Designs hStep 3:  Die cut the tags using colored soft finish cardstock.  I used Cafe Au Lait, Olive Twist, Ladybug Red, Silver Gray, and Misty Mauve.

EK Gorman, Elizabeth Craft Designs iStep 4:  Heat emboss embossing powder onto the top of the ornaments die cuts.  I used antique gold and silver embossing powder.

EK Gorman, Elizabeth Craft Designs jStep Five:  Peel off the backing from the back off the ornament and add the die cut to the adhesive.

EK Gorman, Elizabeth Craft Designs kThen add Silk Micro Fine Glitter to the adhesive.  I used Leaf Green, Bright Cranberry, and Silver.

EK Gorman, Elizabeth Craft Designs lStep Six:  Peel off the backing to the ornament toppers and add Copper Silk Microfine glitter.

EK Gorman, Elizabeth Craft Designs mStep Seven:  Using Kids Choice Glue add the topper to the ornament.

EK Gorman, Elizabeth Craft Designs nStep Eight:  Using string or ribbon, tie the tags together.

Step Nine:  Using clear double sided adhesive, add the ornaments to the top of the small tag.

EK Gorman, Elizabeth Craft Designs oStep Ten:  Using the new Classic Christmas sentiment stamp set, add the sentiment to the bottom of the big tag using black ink.

I think these turned out so cute and can’t wait to add them to my holiday gifts!

EK Gorman, Elizabeth Craft Designs eThanks for peeking in today, and make sure you go over and see the whole release of holiday dies and stamps.
