Halloween Card Making Has Begun!!!!!  And I am so excited if you can’t tell.

Oddball Art is literally just releasing this collection of Baby Boos and you can find it today in the online shop under IMG458 Baby Boos.

For this card, I took each of the individual png images, and layered them together, purposely making them different heights.

Then using my copic markers, I colored in the image, using a combination of both cool, warm and neutral grays to make all the different blacks and grays.  An image like this can be hard to color because there are so many different shades of black that need to be colored, that it can be hard to make each image stand out.  But by using the the cool and war combination, you can give each image there own identity.

To finish this project off, I adhered in a digital sentiment into the inside of the card after matting it on some black cardstock.  I know I don’t normally finish off the inside of the card, however, I just couldn’t ruin the scene with a matted sentiment.

Are you as excited as I am about halloween projects being on the horizon?  When do you traditionally start?  Is July too soon?  Alas it probably is, but I was excited to color these images non the less.
