The Most Beautiful Thing

Kindest Cut

So I have been super busy all week teaching at Girl Scout camp this week, and haven’t had a whole lot of extra time this week.  Needless to say, my desk has felt a little neglected.  However, I need to make a quick card for a friend, and thought you would get a quick out of seeing how I made this super easy and quick card.

This week over at White Rose Crafts, there is a new theme celebrating “The Kindest Cut of All” including dies and pop out die cuts!  I used one of WRC’s pop out dies to make this super easy card!

EK Gorman, White Rose Crafts aFor this card, I pulled out Craft Creations Jugs of Tulips die cut pop out sheet.  These are pre-cut sheets that you layer to create fancy looking, but yet simple cards.  To start the card I layered a 6×6 card frame with a piece of paper from LemonCraft House of Roses printed paper.

EK Gorman, White Rose Crafts bThen I layered the pop outs using some 3D 2mm Dual Adhesive Mounting Pads to make sure each layer had dimension.

EK Gorman, White Rose Crafts dYou can see here how much dimension the card gets after all the layers are applied.

EK Gorman, White Rose Crafts eTo add a little extra sparkle to the card, I added some Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard to the top layers of the flowers.

EK Gorman, White Rose Crafts cI also added a sentiment from a Tim Holtz sentiment sticker pack to add the final touch to the card.
