It’s Saturday, so that means it is time for a new theme week to begin over at White Rose Crafts. This week the theme is “Inking Up, Inking Out”, and centers around around the range of inks that WRC carries in the shop.
I decided to use a Ranger Brayer to add my ink to all my projects. But since I find that life just doesn’t have enough time these days, the video I shot of the process hasn’t been cut. I promise to sneak in this week and share with you the process, but today you are just going to have to settle for the sneak peak of the photos.
My first two projects center around the new VersaFine Clair Ink Pads, and I used Paradise and Tulip Red.
After braying the ink onto some white card stock, I stamped out the hearts and lady bug from the Jillibean Soup Love Bug stamp set in both the Tulip Red and some VersaFine Black Onyx.
The hearts and lady bug were hit with a little glossy accents and the edges of the card where rimmed with Black Onyx.
My next project starts with a piece of ephemera from LemonCrafts House of Roses Ephemera Cards. I added the Tulip Red and Paradise to a Clear Scraps Fireworks stencil.
I added also a bunch of Nuvo Drops. I used Autumn Red, Strawberry Coulis, and White Blizzard.
My next projects centers around the ScrapBerry Inks.
Again I started with a piece of LemonCrafts House of Roses Ephemera Cards. Then I added the Scrapberry Inks. I used Pink, Blue, Black and Green.
I added some fussy cut ephemera from LemonCrafts Daydream ephemera Sheets. I also added a sentiment from Your Next Stamps Whatnot Sentiments in Black Onyx.
My final project uses Distress Oxides to distress my paper and ad a touch of color still using the brayer.
I once again pulled out a piece of LemonCrafts House of Roses Ephemera Cards. Then I pulled out my Frayed Burlap, Tattered Rose and Antique Linen.
I finished this card off with Your Next Stamps Whatnot Sentiments in Black Onyx and glued on some sequins from the new Doodles Paper Playground Strawberry Fields Sparkle Blend sequin mix.
I hope you enjoyed the taste of my projects today, and come back when the video is cut. Till then take advantage of the 10% discount happening over at WRC on all their inks and nuvos!
