For those of you who have been following along with White Rose Crafts theme week over on the Facebook, have you taken advantage of the discounted products in the June Add-Ons?  There are so many fun products that can enhance your June Subscription Kit, and help you get the most out of your products.

Today I am playing with two cards, both using papers from the June Subscription Kit.

My first project uses some textures past and stickers to enhance the ombre colored paper in the background from the kit.

I started with a piece of 4.25×5.5 ASPIRE Petallics Black Ore Cardstock.

Then, using some Creative Medium Iridescent Texture Paste onto the black cardstock.  This is an interesting paste, that on white paper has a shimmery white texture, but on black or dark cardstock, has this gorgeous turquoise effect.  I have always thought it looked like ocean waves if you spread it correctly.

I added Jolee’s Beach Leisure stickers around the paste to create a little beach scene.

I added the last of my favorite paper from the June kit to a card frame.  On top of that I added the black card stock that had been trimmed down.

My second project is a 6×6 card layered with some sweet treats.

I started with a 6×6 card frame and added a piece of acetate from the June Kit.

Then I added a piece of stripped paper from the kit….

….as well as a stick sentiment from the kit.

Then, using the K & Co Summer Ices sticker set, I added all kinds of sweet treats.

Such a simple card, and yet so very effective.
