There is a new color challenge up over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge.  This week we are celebrating all things pastel, so pullout those pinks and pale blues and get crafting.

I am playing with the super gorgeous new sentiment stamp Something Wonderful from Stamplorations.

I stamped out the sentiment onto some watercolor paper using versafine ink and then heat embossed some clear embossing powder over it.  Then using Distress Inks, I added the pastel colors.  I used Shabby Shutters, Tattered Rose, Scattered Straw, Tumbled Glass and Milled Lavender to add the pastels.

In the end, I couldn’t see the sentiment well enough, so I went over it with some weathered wood distress ink, and then splattered some water to let the distress do it’s magic.
