Hey Oddballs!  I am sneaking in today to share a mess of an Art Journal Page.  No seriously, it is just a mess… and you know what…that’s okay.  Because lets be honest.  That is what art journal pages are for: to experiment and if need be make mistakes.

I am loving playing with the collection of Oddball Art digital stamps, because they really do create so many opportunities to do so many different types of projects from cards to ATCs to art journal pages.

When I saw IMG28 Kawaii Clouds Hearts, I just knew that I wanted to create an art journal page with them.

I colored the clouds up quickly with my copics and was so excited for the art journal.  Then it went down hill from there.  It was never the digital stamps that went messy…it was the paint in my journal.

I think I went too heavy with the stencils and paint and created just too much of a mess.  But here’s the thing.  I’m not perfect and thus wanted to share that.  I as a creator always feel better about my skills when I see that real people make real messes, so here I am, sharing my mess.

In an attempt to clean up the mess, I added bunches of Nuvo drops all over the art journal page…and let me tell you…it didn’t help.

So to let myself off the hook, I added the sentiment, ‘live, create, tell the story’.  It seemed fitting.

Thanks for coming in an seeing my mess…and while it is a mess…I feel so good having played with some paint and these gorgeous clouds.
