There is still time to play with the current challenge up over at Kitty Bee Designs bi weekly challenge group Aloha Friday. The current challenge is a theme challenge celebrating “Spring”.

This week I am playing with the super cute digi Hippie Chick from All Dressed Up.
I colored up the digi with my prismacolor pencils, really focusing on my highlights and lowlights. I am not always crazy about my facial shading, but think I actually got pretty close on this one. I figured here in the DC area, the cherry blossoms are in bloom and everyone is so excited about the promise of spring.
I added a springish sentiment to the card and added the focal image to a sparkly die cut to finish off the card, wanting my coloring to be the highlight of the card.
