If anyone is feeling over whelmed by the quantity of posts coming out of my world today, I promise this is the last one. It was just one of those days where everything just lined up in a funny way.
I am coming in today to share this card I made featuring several products from White Rose Crafts for the ModSquad Challenge.
The ModSquad Challenge this week features a Rainbow Theme. I decided to take a sort of funny approach to using this theme. For me, childhood is so often conveyed in the appearance of rainbows, and in my house, it feels like the years are flying just too fast by for my children.I started by spreading some acrylic ink across some heavy cardstock and let it dry.
Then using Timeless Clear Stamp, I clear embossed the image onto some cardstock. I then blended some Distress Inks over the image. I used Candied Apple, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemons, Mowed Grass, Salty Ocean, and Seedless Preserves.
I added the cardstock over the acrylic paint, using double sided tape on the bottom, and 3 dimensional adhesives on top, so the card would pop up.
To finish the card, I stamped both the bunny images and the sentiment from Happy Hoppers stamp set using some StayzOn.
Hope you enjoy this colorful card and think about playing at the challenge. White Rose Crafts is sponsoring it, and there is a $25.00 gift certificate for a random participant.
Wonderful rainbow of colors and love the fun images you used for it.
