The December release for Craftin Desert Divas is now available in the shop, and all week long I will be showing off the new stamp sets again (plus the new dies and stencil too).
Today I am getting to show you two different sets, both of which have a true whimsical feel!
Up first is the new unicorn set, Sparkle.
I stamped out the image and then die cut it with CDD’s new Inside Scalloped Octagon Dies. I set the frame of the large octagon aside and pulled out my copic markers to color in the unicorns and the space around them. I created a bit of magic in the sky with my White Gelly pen.
I assembled the card, adhere both the negative card stock from the die cut and the unicorn image to an A2 card frame with some Scor-Tape. I then added the octagon back onto the card, popping it up with some 3D adhesive squares. Finally I added some small silver hearts to the card from CDD’s new Lady Bug sequin mix.
The second card features CDD’s new and exclusive Hugs and Kisses stamp set that features the CDD Trolls.
For this card, I stamped out one of the sweet valentine trolls onto the card stock and then stamped out one of the sentiments. I colored in the troll using my copic markers. I used V22, V25, and V28 for the troll hair, B0000, B00 and B02 for his tunic and wings, and E51, BV00 and E21 for his skin tone. The heart was colored in using just R0000 and R11.
I then created the background using CDD’s new stencil, Hearts Galore blending some distress ink in tattered rose and victorian velvet. I then die cut the cardstock with CDD’s Crazy Stitched Frame Dies. I adhere the focal image onto an A2 card frame and detailed the card with some White Gelly pen and some Bubble Gum sequins mix.
