This month, Craftin Desert Divas has a really cool incentive along with the great new stamps and dies for their August Release Event.  This month if you spend $50 you can get one of two 2×3 stamp sets FREE.

The first of the 2 stamp sets is this little cutie called Wet Feet.  For all you flamingo lovers, this one is just for you!

I stamped out the image along with the little star fish and the sentiment onto some watercolor paper and then using my inktense watercolor pencils and my touch of glitter pen, colored in the image.  I hand drew in the surf and the sea.  I die cut out the scene using (my current favorite die) Crazy Stitched Frame Dies.  Then using CDD’s Island Dies, I die cut out the palm tree and sea shell and used the same coloring technique on it.  I also added a few clouds with the same coloring technique from the Rainbow Die set.
