There is a new challenge up over at Christmas Card Throwdown. This first challenge of the month is a theme challenge featuring the theme “Tropical Christmas”.
Now, I know what you are thinking…Christmas is a time for snow and cold, and tropical is is sunny and warm. However, it is August, so it feels warm and sunny, so it seems only fitting to have a tropical Christmas.
I however, may have made this challenge a little hard for myself when I did my last color challenge. I used my best tropical Christmas stamp for the rainbow challenge. So I pulled out a different stamp from the same Inkadinkadoo tropical set and stamped out the some water color paper with watering can Archival ink. I also stamped out a Winnie and Walter holiday sentiment stamp with red Archival. I pulled out some Prima watercolor paint and colored up the set using the Decadent pie color set.
I can’t wait to see what you do with with this challenge. I am really looking forward to seeing those designs that come from a set that isn’t a ‘tropical xmas’ stamp set! I feel like I am about to be really impressed!
