There is a new challenge up over at Christmas Card Throwdown.  It is time for a color challenge, and the powers that be desided it was time to use them all, well or at least, the ones in the rainbow.

Now, if you are anything like me, you release that traditionally rainbows and Christmas don’t usually go together… and frankly you would be right.  But with a little thinking, I was able to unblock the rainbow/Christmas blog and figure out a design to fit this challenge.

Frankly it wasn’t until I ran across this stamp set from Inkadinkadoo with is beach themed holiday stamps, that I can up with an idea.  I stamped out the simple beach chair with santa hat, along with the sentiments, and my watercolors.

I think in the end, I made the color challenge work…Let me know what you think?

I really can’t wait to see what you do with this color challenge.  I think there are going to be some really amazing work for those who figure out how to play with the color for this one.
