I’m sneaking in here today share with you a simple card design featuring the ultra cute Ladybug Garden stamp set from Craftin Desert Divas.
Today, I stamped out the sweet little sleeping ladybug 
bear onto some watercolor paper with a bit of Archival ink. I decided early on, that I wanted this card to be soft, so I pulled out my Derwent watercolor pencils (which colors come out much softer and lighter than the Derwent Inktense).
I started the project by coloring in the entire image first with my watercolor pencils, using a dark shade and a light shade for each section.
Then, using a watercolor brush, and clean water, I soften each section, melting the wax and blending the two colors.
I let the image dry, and then using the same colors, I went back in with the watercolor pencils and colored in again some of the dark areas, leaving the pencil texture behind.
I added some grass to the project using two different shades of green and flicking randomly some marks. I added a touch of water to the flick marks, flicking my paint brush in random strokes to mimic the pencil marks.
I decided this image would make a perfect ‘tag’ card, so I pulled out the Tag Essentials die set, and die cut the image with the large tag die. I also die cut the hole reinforcer from my left over watercolor paper and added a soft pink satin ribbon.
Now, I have just recently purchased the Crazy Stitched Frame die set, and am absolutely obsessed with it. So I pulled out a pink and white paper from Kraft In Color paper pack, 
and a set of white and black sheet of card stock. I die cut both sheets and assembed the papers. I added a few 3D Adhesive Squares to pop the tag up. I also added some accents with my White Gelly Roll Pen.
I heat embossed some white embossing powder over a sentiment from the Ladybug Garden set. The white was a little too light, so I addd some black accents to the side of each letter to help the sentiment pop.
