Hello crafty people…I’m back sharing a sneak peak of Craftin Desert Divas the new Market Stand Stamp Set. For all you garden lovers or open markets fans, this stamp set is absolutely for you. There are all kinds of beautiful produce that you can bundle up, as well as this sweet shopping gal.
I knew from the beginning that I would want these bushels to pop up, so I went ahead and stamped out everything, (masking where I needed too to create the veggie baskets), and fussy cut out everything. Today, everything was colored in using my colored pencils, because I wanted the look to be a little softer than what I could do with markers.
Then I new I wanted some kind of beautiful background to help all the fussy cut stamps stand out. I pulled out my distress inks, and blended chipped sapphire, blueprint sketch,
broken china and tumbled glass heavily onto some card stock. I die cut the blue panel with two dies from CDD’s Fancy Frame Die. I adhered the now two panels down onto an A2 card frame with my 1/4″ Scor Tape. I started adding the fussy cut images, starting with the market stand…I decided that I needed some kind of earth between the fore ground and the background, so I pulled out some lucky clover distress ink and blended it on some card stock. Then I die cut out the inked panel with the grass die from the Outdoor Landscape Dies. I adhered the grass. Using 3D Adhesive Squares, so certain things would pop off the card, I added the bushels and the shopping gal. Finally, using a sentiment from the new stamp set, I heat embossed it into the sky with white embossing powder.
