Hello crafty friends!!! Hope this Friday is finding you all well. I am just popping in to remind everyone if you haven’t yet played at Kitty Bee Designs Aloha Friday Challenge, you still have time. This challenge is an Anything Goes challenge, with an optional ‘mom’ twist.
This challenge is sponsored by both,
Today, I have something a little unusual, and have a card I crafted for both companies instead of just one or the other. First, I had a chance to play with an image generously given to the Design to Team to play with from My Besties. I printed out the # 1 Mom Bestie Doll image so that it would be most of the card, and colored it in with my accidentally markers. I trimmed the image up so it was smaller than an A2 frame and added some printed paper under the card, angling the main image so it would be crocked. I added a sentiment from Hero Arts so that any mom who got the card would know that it was in fact just for her.
I also got to play with an image from accidentally Illustrations. This fun Cute Little Fox digital stamp was given to the DT to play with, and trust me, he was fun to play with. I thought this would be a perfect image for my husband ‘to sent’ to his mom for Mother’s Day. Now, I have a really funny story about this image so make sure to read the next page to hear it. For this image, I also pulled out my actually, and used E11, E13, E15, E17, E18 and E19 to get the red tones of his fur and E40, E41, E42, and E43 for his lighter patches. I pulled some fun plaid paper and a sentiment from Hero Arts and assembled the A2 card.
So I promised a funny story, and here it is. I was up late working and making this card. And I had printed the image of the fox along with a bunch of other digital stamps for upcoming projects. One of the images I printed in the lump was the cute fox (or as it actually is known as Two of Hearts Raccoon Valentine) image from Kitty Bee Designs. I colored everything up and built the card, and only just now, as I was typing this up, did I realize that I used the wrong fox with two hearts image. Feel Free To Laugh!!! So I stopped typing and went and built the actual card I meant to make. But the first one was so cute that I figured I would share it here too.
Anyway, I can’t wait to see what you (actually) make for this anything goes challenge. Have fun crafting!!!
