It is time for a new challenge over at Christmas Card Throwdown. The challenge this time is a fun sketch challenge looking for multiple layers.
I jumped all over this challenge, pulling out a holiday stamp set from Craftin’ Desert Divas. I stamped out Santa, and masked him off, then added the penguin. I add the sentiment and die cut out the image from a Craftin Desert Divas die. I simply adore this sentiment, and for my family, next year will be our first chance ever at having a possible white Christmas. Living in Southern California has its benefits, but I have always felt that Christmas was just too warm. After our move, we might just get a “happy freezing season”.
I colored in the image using my copics, and then die cut out another circle with a Little B to matte the image. I pulled out some ‘snowing’ card stock and added it to an A2 frame, then added the circles.
I can’t wait to see what you do with this sketch. I think this one has lots of fun potential.
This is fab – such a cute couple!!! Your colouring is fantastic. Great work. xxx

What a lovely image, your colouring is always great. I hope you get your snow this Christmas. It’s rare here, normally grey and damp.

That’s such a cute image, and you’ve fitted the Santa and penguin together perfectly. The papers really set the scene, clever choices! A lovely card x
