Can you believe that it is already April.  And with a new month comes a new Mood board over at Craftin Desert Divas‘ Facebook social media Gallery.

And this new April mood board is just stunning.  Check out all those gorgeous pinks and greens and new signs of spring!!!  Personally, I think that the top center picture may be one of the cutest pics I’ve seen in some time.

I wanted to put a fun little twist on my card for today… taking all the beauty of spring and adding an element you would never see in it…or in other words, a robot.

I pulled out the CDD stamp set Spare Parts stamp set and stamped out one of the robots and masked him off.  Then using florals from the Build a Scene 2 stamp set, I stamped them twice in the back ground.  I also used rocks and flowers from this set to decorate the grass area.  Then using Build A Scene, I used the leafless tree, knowing I wanted to turn it into a cherry blossom tree.  Finally using nuts, bolts and a sentiment from the Spare Parts Stamp set, I gave the design its final stamps.  I pulled out the copics and let the magic of coloring begin.

I trimmed up the card stock and added it to an A2 frame.  Finally, pulling out my White Gelly Roll Pen, I added some highlights to my robot friend, and the daisy centers.
