Cupcake Inspirations #400 Birthday Bash Day 5 Part 1

400 Challenge Celebration BadgeCIC400Hey friends…welcome back to Day 5 of Cupcake Inspirations 400th challenge birthday bash.  If you have been living under a rock, and don’t know about the challenge this week, it is to create a birthday card inspired by one of our previous 399 challenges.  Need to find inspiration, then go check out CIC’s Pinterest page.

Today we are spotlighting our sponsor Kitty Bee kittybeedesignsDesigns, who is generously offering a digital (non colored) image to one random participant.

Kitty Bee Designs was kind enough to give us Sweeties a couple of images to play with and I CIC330choose to play with Cupcake Surprise Pup.  I printed out the digi so that it would be pretty large and started coloring it in with my copic markers.  I choose Cupcake Inspirations Challenge #330.  This color challenge features the colors peach, berry, and mousse.  For the peach color I used the markers YR000, YR00, and YR02.  For the berry tones, I used RV63, RV66, and RV69.  For the mousse color I used E23, E25, and E27 (with a little E29 for his spots).  I also added a bunch of Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen to the hat and the cupcake heart.  I added a birthday sentiment from Stamplorations.  I die cut up the image using a Craftin Desert Divas die and matted it with some peach and pink printed paper, and then some brown textured printed paper.  I adhered everything to an A2 frame and called it a day.EK Gorman CIC400 Th-1Take some time and go see all the other great designs done by the Design Sweeties.  Have you joined the challenge yet????  If not what are you waiting for…time is quickly passing by.  Stay tuned today for another sponsor spotlight as well as several others this week.
