Welcome back to Day 4 of Cupcake Inspirations 400th challenge Birthday Bash!!! For those of you who may have missed the first three days of this challenge, this week we are challenging you to make birthday cards inspired by one of our previous 399 challenges. Need help finding inspiration, then go on over to our Pinterest Page.
Each day of our challenge we are spotlighting a sponsor who has supported the challenge over the years. Today we are spotlighting Sasayaki Glitter who has generously offered 2 digi images to one random participant in this week’s challenge.
Today Sasayaki Glitter gave us Sweeties some digis to play with and I choose to play with Baby Elly’s Birthday. And with that cute little Elly, I knew I needed a challenge with some kind of gray in it, so I chose Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #294.
I printed out the digital stamp so it would be pretty large and colored it in with my copic markers. For the gray tones, I used C3, C5, and C7. The ballet tones were made with R81, R83, and R85. The chocolate tones were created with E29, E59, and E49.
I trimmed up the image and snagged a piece of ballet printed striped paper. I die cut that out with a Craftin Desert Divas die and set it off center. I then adhered the Elly off center as well. I added a fun sentiment from Art Impressions and a couple of pink sequins from Craftin Desert Divas.
Take a few minutes and go and see what the other Design Sweeties have done? There are some really cute cards that you don’t want to miss. Have you played yet with our challenge? There is still plenty of time and many amazing prizes this week for those who participate.
