Over on Craftin Desert Diva’s Facebook Gallery the March monthly moodboard challenge is still going on.  All these lovely spring colors to play with.

Today, I made a card focusing on a spring wreath.  I used
Craftin Desert Diva’s dies to create the look I was looking for.  I pulled out the CDD Stitched in Circle Dies.  I used two of the dies and some post it tape, and ran it through my die cutting machine to make a mask.  Then using a cactus flower stamp from the Prickly stamp set, I stamped out a repeating design

through out the mask.

Pulling out my copics I colored in the flowers, using the color in the March Moodboard.  Then using, the wreath die from the set, I die cut another die cut in some textured green card stock.  I die cut out the wreath and assembled the two die cuts together.

Using the white card stock the image had been die cut from, I layered the white paper over some printed paper.  I added the wreath with some dimensional adhesive.  Finally, using the This and That sentiment stamp pack, I added a ‘thinking of you’ sentiment.

 

I know clean and simple isn’t my normal go to card, but I think that this one is rather pretty.
