It is Sunday, which means it is time for a new challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations.  This week we are hosting a color challenge, featuring the colors jade, rose, and goldenrod.

For me, this was a bit of a difficult color challenge due to the pastel nature of the colors.  I so rarely work in pastel tones, and I found myself a little lost.  Luckily the Design Sweeties were given a couple of digi images to play with this week, and I had the opportunity to play with Stanley, I Heart You.  This digi easily could be filled in with the pastel color palette, so the difficulties I was feeling, disappeared.

I printed out the digi fairly large, knowing that I wanted to make the digi the main focus.  I colored in the image with my copics, making my bear goldenrod, the letters jade, and the heart rose.  I think in the end I found my way through the color palette.  I trimmed the card stock down a bit and added some jade glittery paper behind the card stock.  I adhered the images to an A2 card.  Finally I added a few clear sequins to give everything a bit more fun.
