There is a new challenge up over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown.  This week it is a color challenge featuring the colors black plus gold or silver.

I pulled out a new sentiment holiday stamp for my collection from Rubber Cottage and added gold foil over some sticky embossing powder.  I am still new to foils and didn’t get it as clean as I would have wished, but I think you can still read it.  If not it says, “It’s All Fun And Games ‘Til Santa Checks the Naughty List”.

I then layered the sentiment over some gold glittery cardstock and added another black frame around the card.  Finally, I fussy cut out the little silver and gold star/flower and added it with some 3D adhesive.  I added a couple gold embellishments and left the card just as it was.
