Altair Art Swans

EK Gorman, White Rose Crafts, Scrapberry swans aI am just messing around with some pretty papers from White Rose Crafts today, and thought I would see if I could push the limits of the paper.

I started off with a simple piece from the Altair Art Flower Harmony paper pack.  It is this really lovely piece of paper with a pink trim, a floral/lace border and this multi-colored blue main section.  Well, I decided to turn it into a pretty water scene by carefully stamping some shadow stamps.

EK Gorman, White Rose Crafts, Scrapberry swans bThe shadow stamps I used were the Studio Light Swans & Bulrush stamp set.  I stamped the image in gray ink instead of black since it was less jarring on that blue background.

I also sketched in some wavy water lines with my glitter gel pen to create a little movement for the swans exist in.

EK Gorman, White Rose Crafts, Scrapberry swans cI added a sentiment from the Dovecraft Lovelier sentiment stamp in black ink and added a bit of glitter pen.  I also added a few drops of Nuvo Vintage Drops in Dusky Rose.

What do you think of my project today?  Do you think I managed to create an interesting scene upon this piece of printed paper?  Let me know in the comments below.  Until then, Happy Crafting.
