It is that time again for a new Creepy Cute Chronicles over at Oddball Art.  This week the included digi in the weekly free newsletter is a fun skeletal pooch.  I thought it might be really fun to create a simple art journal page using this week’s digital stamp.

I started by creating the background with distress oxides sprays (iced spruce, cracked pistachio and mermaid lagoon).  Then using some faded jeans distress oxide, I blended some over a fun stencil.  I also stamped some cracked pistachio and faded jeans with a cool distress background stamp.

Super simple, but so full of fun color.

I printed out the digital stamp, colored it in with my copics and then fussy cut out the images.

The images got glued into my art journal, and then a grounding line and shadow was added.

Finally, I added a fun sentiment with a sticker sentiment from Tim Holtz.

Like I said, a super simple art journal page, but still really cute!
