Hey Divas!  I’m back for the third day of sneak peaks over at Craftin Desert Divas.

I think one of the hardest cards to craft is masculine, especially for the preteen boy.  However, the new stamp set Western Bandits is perfect for these adolescent boys.

I love the old school western feel of this stamp set, so knew from the beginning I wanted to look like an old school western wanted poster.  So I stamped out the scene and sentiments, masking where I needed too.  Then I pulled out my colored pencils, and started coloring the images in with sepia tones.  Basically, I just added a bunch of brown tones to the characters, trying to create a different values through out the piece.

I trimmed out the image and matted it with some dark brown card stock.  Then adding a piece of printed paper, I assembled the A2 card using my favorite adhesive 1/4″ Scor-Tape.
