It’s Sunday so that means that it is time for a new a new challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations Challenge.  It is time for a new theme challenge, and since today is Mother’s day (by way, to all you moms…Happy Mother’s Day), it seems only fitting that the theme this week is MOM.

As for me, I took a very different approach than most of my team mates…not because the design team is wrong, but probably because I am…I had a friend who asked me this week if I could whip her up a ‘funny’ mother’s day card instead of the traditional sentimental.  Being me and my punny, snarky self, it took very little for me to find a hilarious way to celebrate mom.  I pulled out this digital stamp from Bugaboo, and printed it out.  Out came my copics, and in came the color.  I added some printed pink paper and some really pretty card stock as well as a sentiment from Hero Arts.

My friend found the card to be perfect, and exactly what she was looking for, and I hope you do too.  I can’t wait to see what you all do with this week’s theme, and am secretly hoping for at least a couple of you find a funny way to do it.  Till next time…Happy Mother’s Day!!!
