It is Sunday, so that means it is time for another challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations. For this challenge we are hosting a color challenge and are looking for the colors spring, pink, and orchid.
This week we are sponsored by Frantic Stamper, who is generously providing a gorgeous detailed die for one random
participant.
Frantic Stamper was also generous enough to provide the Design Sweeties with a precision die to each of the Design Sweeties. I choose to play with the Hummingbird Stained Glass die. I knew I
wanted the colors of my stain glass to match as closely as I could with the challenge colors and I didn’t have any paper that would do that on its own, so I blended distress ink onto some card stock. I used twisted citron, picked raspberry, and seedless preserves. I used the die to cut all
the blended card stock and a piece of black card stock. What occurred next was basically a very difficult puzzle piecing to get all the panes inserted where I wanted them. To get everything to stick well, I laid down row after row of double stick tape. The puzzle may have been complicated, but I think the end results were totally worth it.

I can’t wait to see how you play with this week’s color challenge… Until then happy crafting.

EK! You outdid yourself friend! GORGEOUS end result! This is really a great idea, you have enough for three more cards. Thanks for the inspiration! Wendy
