It is Sunday, so that means it is time for a new challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations.  This week we are hosting a color challenge featuring the colors fern, rose, and steel.

DRS was kind enough to share some of their rubber stamps with the Sweeties this week, and I had the opportunity to play with the image Hula Pig and the sentiment Big Girl Panties Greeting.  I love this sentiment, and frankly use it all the time with my children when something doesn’t go their way (yes, I’m that mother).  So I figured the sentiment would work when it came to a pig hula dancing.

I stamped out both the sentiment and the image next to each other onto Some white card stock.  I then drew with my pencil a wooden sign around the sentiment so it looked like it was a posted sign.  I outlined the sketch with a copic friendly pen, and the proceeded to color in the sigh and the pig.  I know the ground was supposed to be sand, however, to match up with the color challenge I decided to go with grass, so I drew in with my copics grass blades.

I trimmed the card stock down to 3.75″ x 5″ and pulled out a piece of printed paper and trimmed it down to 4″ x 5.25.  Finally I grabbed a piece of textured green card stock and trimmed it down to fit an A2 card.  I adhered all the paper crocked and called it a day with the card.
