So I am back after a brief break with a brand new Christmas Card for the challenge group 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. Since it is the first week of July, we are having a sketch challenge, and I am excited to get started.
To play with this sketch, I flipped the original image and turned the circles into squares. Then I pulled out some holiday paper and created the base of the card, layering the red background sheet, the white foreground ship and the three rectangle images.
I then pulled out a sweet little image from the now retired Little Miss Muffet line and stamped it out onto some watercolor paper. Then using some liquid watercolor, I watercolored the image. I wanted a strip of paper that would match the little girl’s pjs, so I watercolored a strip as well.
I can’t wait to see what you create using this fun sketch. Until then, happy crafting.

EK, I love what you did with my sketch. I really like it flipped like that. I may have to give it a try in that orientation now :).
