It is the beginning of a new month, so it is time for a new sketch over 52 Christmas Card Throwdown.  This month’s sketch is one of our simpler ones, which I actually often find more difficult.  But this month’s my card almost designed itself because the sketch was so much fun!

I started with printed papers, and trimmed them up to mimic the sketch.  I knew my sentiment would act as the second line in the sketch, so I just added one strip of paper in the assembly of the papers.

Then using, a holiday stamp and die set from Avery Elle, I stamped, watercolored the focal image and die cut it out.  I also heat embossed the sentiment from the same stamp set onto some black cardstock.  I added the stamped image and sentiment to the card using some three dimensional tape.
