Hoppy Easter

Welcome back to the Fourth day of Focused looks featuring new products from the Joset van De Burgt line of products over at Elizabeth Craft Designs.  Today I have two different cards featuring an Easter theme show casing new dies (and stamps) being released.

My first card features the new Bunny Die Set and Spring Basket Die Set.  I die cut out all the pieces (the bunny and the carrot from the first set, and the basket, bow, grasses and eggs from the second) and colored them up with my copic markers.

I then die cut some Cafe au Lait Soft Finish Card stock with the large Dashing Rectangle die set.  I also die cut with the Dashing Rectangle Die set some printed paper from the Relax in the Garden paper pack.  I also stamped in some plum colored ink a sentiment from the new Spring Sentiments stamp set from the Joset van de Burgt line.

My second card today features the new Eggs Spread stamp set, Entwined Egg die set, the Trio of Leaves die set and Words 3 Happy Holidays word die set.

To create the card, I die cut the Entwined Egg set out of some Soft Finished Cardstock in 100lbs.  The flowers got hit with a bit of copic markers and the center added to the center of them.  I then stamped out a couple of the eggs from the new Eggs Spread stamp set and colored them in with my copics.  I hand cut out the eggs and set them aside.  Finally, I die cut the Trio of Leaves dies and colored them in with copic markers.

For the Sentiment, I colored an ombre effect onto some Soft Finished Card Stock and then die cut out the greeting from the new Words 3 Happy Holidays (please note there are 4 new word dies sets being released today!)

I cut out some printed paper from the Relax in the Garden paper pack and then started assembling the card, laying all the different pieces and gluing them down with some liquid adhesive.

Make certain you go over and check out the Elizabeth Crafts Designs Blog to see all the amazing projects by the Design Team.  Trust me you won’t be sorry.  And don’t forget to stop in tomorrow to see the last day of new release this month from Elizabeth Craft Designs.
