Kitty Bee Designs May Spotlight

406559_150768985038756_974684533_nHello crafty people.  I am sneaking in here to showcase a design featuring a Kitty Bee Design digital stamp.

With summer just around the corner, days getting both warmer and longer, and my kids outside constantly with their packs of bubble (they are getting older, but they all are still into bubbles).  I felt it was only fitting to play with the Red Panda Heart Bubbles Valentine. This may have been intended for February, but for me, this digi screams spring and the freedom to be outside without shoes on, toes wiggling in the grass.  For me, that is what the Red Panda is doing, emerging to the fun of spring!

I printed out the digi, and colored it in using my (new to me) Spectrum Noir colored pencils.  I needed a second set of pencils for everyday use so I could stop wearing my prismas down (I use those for fine art) and am finding that I am I absolutely loving them. I found the perfectly highlighted this digi in all the best ways.

I stamped out a sentiment from a Craftin Desert Divas sentiment pack and then die cut out the image using a My Favorite Things die.  I tried something funny today, by dry embossing the negative left from the die through a Darice embossing folder.  I really love how this played out, especially when I popped the image up with some dimensional tape.

I really hope you are finding yourself outside toes in the grass this spring!…even if you don’t have the bubbles.
