This is my friendly reminder that there is still time to play in this month’s sketch Christmas Card Throwdown.
For my second card with this sketch, I chose to do a more traditional interoperation of the sketch. I pulled out some washi tapes, and spread them over some white card stock cut down to 4″ x 5.25″. I then stamped out some simple holiday stamps from Recollections in the opposite corners. I gave the stamped images a bit of coloring with my copics and left it at that. Finally, I stamped out a sentiment from the same stamp pack and die cut it with the small Craftin Desert Diva Tag Essential Dies. I adhered the sentiment with some dimensional tape. For me, this is a very simple card, but I think all that gold washi tape makes the card look special.
I can’t wait to see how you play with this sketch, and even more, how you are getting along with your Christmas Card Stash early in the year.

I love the doodle style of this card. I have various wash tapes in my stash, but never think to use them – and I’m never sure how, although this sketch is perfect for them. Lovely card!
