EK Gorman, Connie Can Crop April hop a
Today I am playing around with a little no line coloring and my colored pencils and snapped a few photos along the way

EK Gorman, Connie Can Crop April hop dI started by stamping out this sweet little stamp set from Penny Black stamps with some Ink of # Fadeout ink.  Then using four different shades of yellow colored pencils, I colored in the raincoat and hat.
EK Gorman, Connie Can Crop April hop eI colored the little gals hands, legs and face next.  I am not going to lie, but skin tone and faces are always the most difficult part of no line coloring.
EK Gorman, Connie Can Crop April hop fI finished the rest of the coloring and added the stamped image onto an A2 card frame.
EK Gorman, Connie Can Crop April hop aTo finish this project off I added a bit of rain falling from the card.

  1. Wow is this adorable. Thanks for showing the step by step photos, because I always wonder where to start in coloring. The colored pencil looks amazing and I’ll have to try the no line technique sometime.

  2. I think you did a wonderful job with the coloring and shading, and faces are always the toughest for me as well. This is a darling card for spring!
