There is a new theme challenge up over at the weekly Christmas challenge group 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. This week we are getting Gingie with it, and celebrating Gingerbread Men!
To create my gingerbread man themed card, I pulled out a Newton’s Nook stamp set and some watercolor paper. I stamped the gingerbread man image several times onto my watercolor paper and then using some watercolor markers colored in sections of the gingerbread man. I wanted the paper to actually feel really special, so I pulled out my spectrum noir sparkle pen in sage and filled in the entire background so it was this sparkly olive color.
I stamped an additional gingerbread man onto another piece of paper and colored him in too. Then I fussy cut him out and added him to the background using some three dimensional adhesive. Finally, I added a bit of ribbon and add the card to an A2 card frame.
