It’s time for a new theme challenge up over at Christmas Card Throwdown.  This week the theme centers around “Script”.  Now the question is what does Script mean to you?

For me, I wanted to us a stencil to create a flowing script through the background of the card.

For today’s project, I decided to pull out all my Nuvo Mousse to create the card.  I started by blending three different shades of blue Nuvo Mousse over some Bristol smooth paper.  The colors I used were Old Navy, Cornflower Blue, and Powder.  Then using a really old (to me) stencil with that features script, I pushed Mother of Pearl Nuvo Mousse through it to leave a crisp clean imprint.

Using an Ellen Hutson Essentials holiday stamp set, I stamped the pine tree image, having painted it first with some Metallic Lustre Black Shimmer mousse.  The sentiment came from the same stamp set, and was matted with some more Mother of Pearl Mousse.
