It’s Sunday, so that means it is time for a new challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations. This week we have a new color challenge featuring the tones of white, pale blue, and black. I have been waiting for this color challenge all year…perfect for a snowy scene.
This week we are being sponsored by Craftin Desert Divas who is offering a prize to one random participant. This is kind of fun for me, because I get to wear both my CDD Design Team hat and my CIC Sweetie hat! If you don’t know CDD, they not only have stamps and dies, but they have tons of digital stamps.
Craftin Desert Divas was kind enough to share this fun digital stamp, Winter Gnomeos.
I printed the digital stamp out, and pulled out my copic markers. I used a combination of B0000, B000, B00, and B2 for the blues, C5, C7, C9 for the blacks, and B60, B63 and colorless blender to create the white shadows.
I pulled out an old retired CDD winter stamp set and stamped out a sentiment. Then I added a bunch of white gel pen all over the trees to help give them the birch look and winter tree look.
I can’t wait to see what you come up with using this fun color challenge.
