There is a new challenge up over at Christmas Card Throwdown. This month, the challenge is a sketch challenge. You don’t necessarily need to follow the sketch precisely, but instead need to follow the spirit of the sketch.
For me, I went with the spirit of the sketch. I used three images instead of the stars.
I pulled out a retired Craftin Desert Divas stamp set and stamped it with some black archival ink. Then using my prima water soluble crayons, I colored in the images, trying to keep all the colors christmasy. I trimmed up the watercolor card stock and added a bit of green glitter paper off to the side.
I can’t wait to see how you play with this interesting sketch. Are you going to stay true to the sketch and follow it precisely, or are you going to veer off and follow the spirit of it?
Such a sweet card and a great take on the sketch. How cute is that glass of milk? 🙂 Xx
